it's an indie kind of week8:00 AM
Wow, it's been a long long time since I've talked about any of the movies I've watched. And you know me, I've watched a LOT of movies. Don't worry, I'm not going to throw them all on you at once. I'll just tell you about a few cute ones I watched this week instead :]
Such a cute movie. If you're a How I Met Your Mother fan, Ted is the main character in this one. Score. There are a lot of well known actors and actresses in this movie which surprised me. I kind of wanted to change the ending a little bit but looking back, it was an all around cute feel-good movie.
the yellow handkerchief
Ever since Twilight came out, I've been hesitant to watch any movie with Kristen Stewart in it. But this movie got 4 stars on Netflix so I said, what the hey... and pressed play. This isn't a movie I'd probably watch again but I did manage to slightly see Kristen in a new light. SLIGHTLY. You end up falling in love with the characters and it has a cute ending. What more can you ask from Netflix streaming?
play the game
First off, my family always used to watch reruns of the Andy Griffith show on Sunday nights. That show is so funny. Now enter Play the Game. Andy Griffith plays an old grandpa whose grandson teaches him how to be a player with the ladies. Andy Griffith + player status = pure gold. The whole movie is about the grandson and grandpa trying to win over different ladies. In the end there is a twist that made me go from "eh, pretty cute" to "oh my gosh that's so awesome!!!" so I think it's worth a watch :]
Any time I don't post for a few days it feels like an eternity. I've been getting into the swing of things back here at school. I love all my classes. Love. Love. Love. That's not normal for me haha. I normally hate at least one... or two.
One class in particular that I'm excited about is my Personal Fitness class. I needed an elective to graduate so I figured this would be easy since I already work out like a gym rat. Turns out, this class is actually going to challenge me personally. We have to make three goals for the semester and take three fitness exams [just for our own records though] My first fitness test is tomorrow. I'm a little nervous. It's a timed 1.5 mile run, a minute of counted sit ups, and a minute of counted push up. I've got crunches down... push ups not so much... but the run... that's what I'm worried about. Anyways, I'm so excited about all this, I've even gotten Mike on board with the goals and fitness tests. I've decided to start up a mini blog series to share our progress just for fun :] So check back later tomorrow or Friday for the first addition!
